2nd hand you play Loaf NT - You need to meld part of the Loaf (7,8,9,10) in your first meld. You must have the Loaf (7, 8, 9, 10) melded to the table to make any canastas. You must toast (canasta) one of the slices to go out.
3rd hand you play Making Bacon NT - You must have at least 1 of the Piggies (J,Q,K,A) in your first meld. You cannot make a canasta until you have all the Piggies melded to the table. In order to go out you must have a canasta in at least 1 of the Piggies.
If you make a natural in the eggs, slice or piggy it is auto win as long as you stop play. If you continue you lose the auto win. DO NOT TOUCH THE PILE.

You have to have EITHER aces or queens in your first meld. Then you have to have BOTH aces and queens melded to the board before you may make any canastas.
